I am responsible for setting and delivering the team's industry leading environmental sustainability strategy.

What was your route into the Engineering / Motorsport industry?

University - post-graduate degree

What STEM skills to you use within your role at the team?

Numerical skills to analyse and interrogate large datasets, chemistry and physics to understand sustainable material innovations, understanding of climate science to develop our net zero strategy and assess climate resilience and science communication skills to help translate complex technical topics into succinct external communications.

What are the best parts about your job?

The variety and the ability to work on some of the most complex sustainability challenges to find new innovations, such as decarbonising freight and logistics and finding more sustainable material feedstocks.

What's one piece of advice you would give to your younger self?

All work experience can be relevant experience, get as much of it as you can and don't worry if it isn't directly in the field you want to end up in. You will pick up a huge wealth of experience and skills in many roles that are transferable such as stakeholder management, working under pressure, communications and project management.
